Saigon Saints

crest

Formed in 1995 Saigon Saints have gradually established themselves as one of HCMC most best teams. Often inaccurately labelled as the British team. They are proud of their diversity, the current squad contains players from all corners of the globe all with one thing in common. Football and Beer.

The Saints pride themselves on fitness, strength and the passing game. Fortunately some things are more dependable, like their social calendar; littered with transparent excuses to hit the turps like Fugby, The Rashes, or Tuesday.

Training and playing throughout the year, the Highlight is the week-on-week rough and tumble of domestic league and cup competitions. But as everyone knows the real stage is Europe. They have never been there, but popular tournaments in Phuket, Manila and Bangkok allow them to put themselves on show, sometimes even on the pitch.

Saints members are treated to a loyalty card to flash at cafes, shops, bars, and pubs around the city. Earning discount and vast amounts of pride.

Saints have a fantastic relationship with sponsors CBRE, JVK movers, and the long suffering Bar Number 5. This year the committee decided, for once, to do something other than order more snacks and offered free sponsorship for Wildlife At Risk.
