Les Gaulois' fighting spirit
The first 30 min of the game have been quite balanced, Les Gaulois had real scoring opportunities which required the keeper to show his skills, Saints touched the middle bar twice with one opportunity. After Saints opened the score from an unexpected spot, Les Gaulois showed character, keeping their hope high that finally they could beat the Saints. 0-1 at half time.
But Saints scored a second goal right after the start of the second half... On a knee, but not giving up, Les Gaulois have suffered defensively, but have seized opportunities on counter attacks to be dangerous and finally scored from a corner 1-2... but Saints stayed in the game and scored right away the third goal.
As the game was supposed to be tough, Les Gaulois gave Saints a hard time and came back 2-3... but a own goal definitely cut the legs of Les Gaulois... opened lots of space allowing a fifth goal for Saints, final score: 2-5.
"Lots of good things in this game, particularly a real fighting spirit, some more laps training would help winning this kind of game.", Les Gaulois.
Hai AU FC involved in another high scoring game (26-10-08)
Hai AU FC continue their domination of the league with their third win of the season which was also a high scoring game. Hai AU FC played Hiep Phu FC during the weekend, which happened to be a very close game. The final score was 4 goals to 3 in favor of Hai AU FC. Their top striker H.H Thinh (9) had another good day adding 2 more goals to his tally and Nam (11) added the last 2 goals. Thinh currently has 6goals to his name and ties with Japan FC striker Shimoji (20) , while Hiep Phu FC registered 3 new goal scorers to the list.
